KUCHING (Oct 16): Angkatan Zaman Mansang (Azam) Sarawak members paid a courtesy call on Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof in Parliament today.

Azam Sarawak chief executive officer Mohd Ali Suhaili said the visit highlighted Azam’s commitment to driving transformation through its Mansang initiative, focusing on participatory communication and knowledge-based approaches.

“During the visit, we shared Azam Sarawak’s achievements and future strategies for community and youth development in Sarawak,” he said in a statement.

Mohd Ali also emphasised the visit’s importance, paving the way for national and international collaborations, especially in Asean.

Apart from the courtesy call, Azam Sarawak members also visited the SDG Centre in Kuala Lumpur, exploring opportunities to integrate Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into their programmes.

Mohd Ali said Azam Sarawak looks forward to welcoming the SDG Centre delegation to Kuching for the Sarawak Urban Forum which will be held from Oct 20 to 23.
