KUCHING, July 13: The first group of 140 Sarawakian pilgrims have safely returned to Kuching on Friday (July 12).
According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, the pilgrims arrived at Kuching International Airport at 8.30pm.
They were welcomed by Minister of Utility and Telecommunication Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi.
He said that four other group of 970 pilgrims are expected to return as scheduled on July 13, 14 and 18.
He added that two pilgrims also passed away in the Holy Land. — DayakDaily
