KUCHING (July 15): NAIM Holdings Bhd, one of the property development leaders in Malaysia, has launched the ‘Freedom to Own’ campaign here.
Group chairman Datuk Amar Abdul Hamed Sepawi said this campaign is more than just a new initiative, in that it reflects the commitment to making luxury living accessible to aspiring Sarawakian homeowners.
The campaign, he added, was designed to empower homebuyers towards achieving their homeownership dreams through co-ownership options.
“In today’s fast-paced world, the dream of owning a home can seem daunting, especially with the financial burdens that come with full ownership.
“Through the options provided by our ‘Freedom to Own’ campaign, homebuyers will have a practical and sustainable solution,” he said during the campaign launching at NAIM Sales Gallery in Rock Commercial Centre here on Saturday.
Among those present were Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Minister Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah; Youth, Sports and Entrepreneurship Development Deputy Minister Dato Gerald Rentap Jabu; Naim group managing director Datuk Hasmi Hasnan; and Senator Datuk Ahmad Ibrahim.
Elaborating, Abdul Hamed said by allowing multiple parties to jointly own a property, financial entry barriers are significantly reduced, making luxury living spaces more attainable.
“Co-owners will enjoy the benefits of property appreciation and shared financial responsibilities while living in NAIM’s developments.
“This campaign does not only provide a pathway to homeownership, but also the potential for capital growth and rental income,” he said.
Inspired by the upcoming Sarawak Day, the ‘Freedom to Own’ campaign includes properties like Sapphire on The Park condominiums in Kuching, Desa Damai houses in Miri, and The Peak condominiums in Bintulu, known for strategic locations and modern amenities.
Adding on, Abdul Hamed described the co-ownership option as the first of three homeownership options under the campaign, as the other two would be unveiled later this year.
“I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to our team, partners, and everyone who has supported this initiative. Together, we are not just building houses; we are crafting homes for generation,” he said.
Meanwhile, Abdul Karim commended the campaign for its role in empowering homeowners to secure their dream home.
“Through co-ownership, individuals can own or invest in properties at prime locations that are set for capital appreciations as those of NAIM’s properties in Kuching, Bintulu and Miri,” he said.
Commenting further, Hasmi reiterated the company’s commitment to enhancing community living with quality spaces.
“With ‘Freedom to Own’, we are taking a significant step towards making homeownership a reality for many.”
The launch also highlighted a food showcase by Sago Group, where the guests were treated to traditional and innovative Sarawakian dishes prepared by prominent chefs including the well-established Chef Achang Libat.
The event also featured a sharing session with Stephanie Lam, an expert on homeownership.
The Freedom to Own campaign is the latest offering by NAIM to empower buyers towards securing their dream home.
Other enticing offers for buyers includes a selection of interior design options for all NAIM properties in Kuching, Miri and Bintulu, that complements Maybank’s 120 per cent MyDeco financing for bespoke furnished lifestyle homes.
Additionally, NAIM also assures speedy loans approval within two weeks with a policy of ‘no loan, no buy’.
