KUCHING (July 21): Over 1,400 students from 58 schools across Sarawak are taking part in the two-day ‘SPM Power Prep Seminar 2024’ at the UCSI Hotel here.
The programme is jointly run by the Democratic Action Party (DAP) parliamentary service centres of Bandar Kuching and Stampin, and also UCSI University Sarawak Campus.
“This is the second year of the seminar after last year’s enthusiastic response,” said Bandar Kuching MP Dr Kelvin Yii, who officiated at the opening ceremony yesterday.
The programme for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2024 candidates covers eight major subjects: Bahasa Malaysia, English, History, Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry.
According to Dr Yii, long-serving teachers have been tasked with equipping the students with the right answering skills and sharing with them some tips as they prepare for the SPM examinations.
“The seminar aims to consolidate students’ answering skills and broaden their knowledge through skills and tips shared by different educators here,” said the MP.
