Special sale of subsidised food items in Sibu this Saturday

SIBU (Oct 17): Sibu MP Oscar Ling’s parliamentary service centre is hosting another sale of subsidised food items at SJKC Thian Chin, Taman Permai here this Saturday (Oct 19).

Ling in a statement said the event will start at 9am and end when all items are sold.

“We have prepared 200 sets of food items to be available on a first-come first-serve basis.

“Each set contains items such as 2kg white rice, sugar, flour, packet cooking oil, instant noodles and garlic,” he said.

He added each set is priced at just RM10, but limited to one set per household.

“Through such sale events, the Madani government is trying its best to reduce the burden of the people amidst the rising price of food items,” he said.
