STIDC hosts three-day Mid-Year Strategic Planning Retreat

KUCHING (July 25): The Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC) is currently hosting its Mid-Year Strategic Planning Retreat, running from July 24 until 26 at Wisma Sumber Alam, Petra Jaya here.

During this three-day retreat, each division within STIDC will be presenting their performances for the first half of 2024.

“This event holds significant importance as it allows us to evaluate our accomplishments and identify challenges, ensuring effective execution of our plans.

“It also serves as an opportunity for our second-tier officers to showcase their divisions’ achievements, and aims to enhance their presentation and public speaking skills, contributing to their professional growth,” said a statement by STIDC.

Meanwhile, in the same statement, STIDC general manager Zainal Abidin Abdullah commented that teamwork and collaboration are vital among all participants of the retreat.

“It is through the collective efforts of a unified team that one can achieve STIDC’s vision.

“Let us lead positive changes and pioneer initiatives that set new benchmarks for sustainable practices in the timber industry.

“As we engage in this productive retreat, let us remain focused on our shared vision and may our discussions lead to bold and decisive actions that propel STIDC to greater heights,” he said.
