Head coach Shi Yang, who has been with the team since 2019, expressed immense pride in the athletes’ achievements, describing them as resilient, disciplined, and hardworking.

“We set a target of two gold medals, but we have won seven gold medals so far. It’s incredible,” he said, adding that the team’s performance since day one has been nothing short of amazing.

“I have truly enjoyed coaching this team. They have worked extremely hard and their success is well-deserved.”

This morning, dynamic duo Dayang Nursharzyra Awang Nasaruddin and Nur Eilisha Rania Muhammad Abrar Raj added the seventh gold to Sarawak’s impressive haul.
