MIRI: A 10kg python was rescued this morning from a house in Grand Park after consuming a duck for breakfast.
The incident occurred around 7.24 am, prompting a distressed call from a 77-year-old resident.
Responding swiftly, a team from the Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) arrived at the scene.
They found the three-metre-long reptile coiled inside a drain at the lady’s house, its belly visibly full from its recent meal.
The APM team took about 20 minutes to secure the area and capture the python.
