MIRI (Sept 13): A group of businesses founded by local entrepreneur Wong Wei Ping and his associates Auditask (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd, Protech Trading Sdn Bhd, Wantong Collector, and Safety Plus Resources Sdn Bhd, officially opened their doors during a grand opening ceremony here.
The event held recently saw Wong introduce Protech Trading which specialises in providing security personnel services.
He explained that the company was established to meet the growing demand for professional, focused, efficient and reliable security services.
“Our goal is to maintain a leading position in the security, emergency services, investigations and training sectors.
“In order to achieve this goal, we recognise that our customers expect our services to be provided with a professional attitude, integrity and standards that exceed contract requirements,” he said.
He emphasised the importance of delivering services with professionalism and integrity, noting that customer satisfaction along with the safety and welfare of both clients and employees remain their highest priority.
“Our mission is to provide screened, trained and motivated security personnel, ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction. We strive to elevate the security industry as a respected profession, reducing risks and losses by creating safer environments for our clients,” he added.
Wong also stressed that the company views itself as a partner with its clients, working towards the common goal of protecting lives and assets while enhancing the value of every investment.
Meanwhile, Councillor Sean Huang, who was the guest of honour at the event, highlighted Auditask Sarawak’s role in assisting companies in the food and beverage sector with halal certification applications.
“Entering the global halal market is key for businesses in the food industry, and providing top-tier consultation services for halal certification is essential,” he said.
He pointed out that halal-certified cuisine is a major attraction for Muslim customers and tourists, and obtaining halal certification opens up greater business opportunities both locally and globally.
Huang encouraged merchants to apply for halal certification, as the government actively supports businesses entering the global market through this route, fostering increased domestic and international investment in Malaysia.
