Bad weather expected in several regions including S’wak until 7pm, says MetMalaysia

KUCHING (July 30): The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued an updated weather warning for thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds expected to persist across several regions here including Sarawak until 7pm today.

In Sarawak, these weather conditions are expected to continue to affect Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei (Pakan and Julau), and Miri (Subis).

In Sabah, similar weather conditions will continue in the Interior (Keningau), and the Tawau (Semporna).

MetMalaysia also indicated that similar adverse weather conditions are anticipated to hit Perak (Larut, Matang and Selama, Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Kinta and Kampar); Kelantan (Jeli, Bachok and Pasir Puteh); Terengganu (Setiu, Kuala Nerus, Kuala Terengganu, Marang and Dungun); Pahang (Cameron Highlands, Lipis, Raub, Bentong, Temerloh, Bera, Pekan and Rompin); Selangor (Hulu Selangor, Gombak and Hulu Langat); Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur; Negeri Sembilan (Jelebu); and Johor (Kluang, Mersing and Kota Tinggi).
