Four NGOs receive donations from PETRONITA

BINTULU: The Petronas Women’s Wives and Staff Association (PETRONITA) has contributed cash assistance to four non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in conjunction with the PETRONITA Orchid Run and Ride 2024 held here yesterday.

The NGO recipients were the Sarawak Kidney Association, the National Cancer Society of Malaysia, the Sarawak Thalassemia Association and Bintulu Nursery Special Care Ward.

The contribution was presented by Jepak assemblyman Iskandar Turkee, and was witnessed by the chairman of PETRONITA Bintulu, Mary Disu.

The donation was derived from the collection of participation fees for the PETRONITA Orchid Run and Ride 2024 activity which took place at the grounds of THE Spring Mall Bintulu.

Also present were the senior vice president of LNG Assets, Abang Yusuf Abang Puteh, the vice president of Strategic Relations and Communications (GSRC) PETRONAS, Nooruddin Abdullah and the managing director and chief executive officer of Malaysia LNG Company Group, Mohamed Syazwan Abdullah @ Laga Jenggi.

A total of 2,500 participants joined in the PETRONITA Orchid Run and Ride 2024 which was divided into three events namely the 10KM Run, 5KM Fun Run and 12KM Fun Ride.
