Free rabies vaccination programme to be held in Batu Kawa

KUCHING (July 19): The Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) and Department of Veterinary Services (DVS) will hold a free rabies vaccination programme on Saturday (July 20).

MPP said the vaccination programme will take place at the SJK Chung Hua Batu Kawa basketball court from 9am to 3pm.

“Free anti-rabies vaccinations for dogs, dog licensing, microchipping, and neutering subsidies are provided on the same day at the venue,” MPP said in a press release.

“MPP also offers an RM150 subsidy for the spaying of female dogs (limited to the first 50 female dogs with a Padawan Municipal Council dog licence and vaccinated).”

Members of the public are requested to bring their identification cards, pet vaccination records, and related pet vaccination information to ensure compliance with the application and vaccination requirements.
