Initiative supports youth attain academic dreams

KOTA SAMARAHAN: The P197 Samarahan Prihatin programme supports the young generation to achieve their dreams through quality education.

Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development Datuk Rubiah Wang said the initiative undertaken by her service centre aims to help the less fortunate in her constituency.

This programme, according to her, reflects her full commitment as an elected representative of the people in supporting the young generation to achieve their dreams through quality education.

“The P197 Samarahan Prihatin programme also provides various welfare assistance to the community in the area.

“This proactive measure ensures that every Samarahan resident enjoys equal access to better education and welfare,” she said.

The Kota Samarahan MP said this when officiating at the P197 Samarahan Prihatin Programme organised by the Kota Samarahan P197 Service Centre at the Kota Samarahan Civic Centre Auditorium, yesterday.

She hopes that the educational assistance given can ease the burden of the recipients in pursuing their academic journey.

“In addition, welfare assistance is expected to help them recover from the health problems they face, so that they can live a better life,” she said.

Samarahan District Officer Ahmad Razak and Samarahan Division Resident representative Julaihi Bujang were also present.
