Lorry destroyed in fire at Jln Tatau-Bintulu

SIBU (July 19): A lorry was destroyed after it caught on fire at Rh Buda Anak Gaya, at KM10 Jalan Tatau-Bintulu near here today.

Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation center said firefighters from the Tatau station were rushed to the scene after receiving a distress call at 4.26pm.

“The fire involved a lorry that was 100 per cent destroyed in the cabin area.

“No operations were conducted as the fire was completely extinguished before firefighters arrived.

“The firefighters only conducted monitoring to ensure there were no further flames,” it said in a statement.
