KUCHING: The newly launched ‘Klinik Kitak’ at Metrocity, Petra Jaya here will offer services in line with the Madani Medical Scheme introduced at federal level.
This scheme, initiated by the Ministry of Health (MoH), aims to address the healthcare needs of the B40 group involving Acute Primary Health Care (Treatment for Mild Illnesses).
Klinik Kitak director Dr Siti Hazirah Datuk Sapuan said this initiative is part of their commitment to implementing the government’s health agenda for the community.
“We fully support efforts to provide free medical care to the targeted groups in this clinic.
“Our participation in the Madani B40 Medical Scheme has been initiated, and we are now awaiting approval from the relevant authorities, which is expected to be known by the end of this month.
“Currently, we have not encountered any issues, and everything is in the process of obtaining the necessary approval,” she said after the opening of Klinik Kitak here Sunday (Nov 12).
Dr Siti said the clinic also has affiliations with E-Mas, PMCare, Healthconnect, and other health institutions to offer a range of services to patients.
The ceremony earlier was graced by Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUN) Speaker Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar.
