BINTULU (July 5): A delegation led by Minister of Education, Innovation and Talent Development Dato Sri Roland Sagah Wee Inn recently conducted a working visit to Pertama Ferroalloys Sdn Bhd at the Samalaju Industrial Park here.

The visit was upon the invitation from Pertama Ferroalloys general manager Yuki Nakamura, and reciprocates a courtesy visit made by the latter to the ministry in April this year.

The ministry in a statement said Sagah was given a warm welcome by Nakamura and his team upon arrival at the factory, and was briefed on the company’s background, its future direction, and corporate values.

“This visit signifies a collaborative effort between the ministry and the company, particularly in pursuing shared objectives such as advancing education, promoting social inclusivity in wealth distribution, and enhancing talent and skills development in the Sarawak workforce,” it said.

Accompanying Sagah were his deputy minister Datuk Francis Harden Hollis and ministry deputy permanent secretary Anielia Siam.
