MIRI (July 31): SMK Chung Hua Miri sent 15 of its best robotic teams to Sibu for the Sarawak Robotic Competition held at SMK Methodist Sibu, which kicked off yesterday.

In a press statement, the principal Lai Jia Ling said the 15 teams, comprising 50 students, competed in six categories: Junior Secondary, Senior Secondary, Mixed Age Tennis, Innovation Group, Creative Junior Secondary, and Creative Senior Secondary.

She emphasised that hands-on experience would equip students with valuable skills for future endeavours, particularly in the engineering industry.

“SMK Chung Hua Miri is dedicated to developing students’ potential in technology and fostering creativity through competitions like the robotic games,” said Lai.

The Sarawak Robotic Competition was jointly organised by the Ministry of Education, Sibu District Education Office, and SMK Methodist Sibu.
