KUCHING, July 19: The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and Tengku Ampuan of Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, expressed their condolences to the entire family of the late Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah.
In a news report by TVS quoting a post from the Pahang Royal Family’s social media, their Majesties also prayed for Nur Farah Kartini, an alumna of Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), to be placed among the righteous.
“May the entire family be strong and have patience in facing this trial. Al-Fatihah,” read the post.
The remains of Nur Farah Kartini, who hailed from Miri, Sarawak, were buried at 5.20pm yesterday (July 18) at Kampung Nyiur Manis Cemetery in Pekan, Kuantan.
The 25-year-old was reported missing on July 10, and her body was found in an oil palm plantation in Kampung Sri Kledang, Hulu Selangor, at around 6pm on July 15.
Following this, a 26-year-old man, a police officer from Perak, was detained and remanded until July 22 to assist in the investigation of the murder case under Section 302 of the Penal Code. — DayakDaily
