Tegas announced five winners of Pre-Accelerator Bootcamp 2024 Demo Day

KUCHING (July 7): Five Tegas Pre-Accelerator Bootcamp (TPAB) 2024 Demo Day entries were announced as winners yesterday.

They are OINC Sdn Bhd, Opah Cooperative, Toclan Agrotech Company, Borneo Glamping, and Teduh Jiwa Counseling and Consultancy.

With the win, they would enjoy free access to the Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (Tegas) Digital Village in Kuching, as well as the Tegas Digital Innovation Hub in Bintulu and Miri.

Making the announcement was Tegas chairman Datu Len Talif Salleh.

In his remarks, he said the winners would also enjoy other benefits such as corporate support from Tegas and Essential in Sarawak Cloud.

“I am happy to announce that the Top 5 winners of TPAB 2024 Demo Day Batch #6 will each receive a special prize award from our partner Cradle, through the MYStartup Sarawak initiative, worth RM2,500,” he said in his speech at the Tegas Digital Village here.

Len Talif said Tegas would continue its efforts to empower start-ups and improve the ecosystem of digital innovation and entrepreneurship through public-private partnerships.

“Our programmes are designed to provide startups with the necessary resources, mentoring and networking opportunities to excel.

“Towards this end, we intend to foster innovation and support the development of technology that can drive significant impact and growth,” he said.

Len Talif also hoped that the initiative, together with Tegas ecosystem partners such as Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd, and WatchTower and Friends, would help Sarawakians raise their business to a higher level.
