Three injured in three-vehicle collision

BINTULU: Three men were injured in a three-vehicle crash at the Ulu Sebauh traffic light intersection here last night (Aug 5).

A spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firefighters from the Bintulu station were dispatched to the scene after receiving a distress call around 11.40 pm.

The accident involved a container lorry, a Toyota Hilux, and a Perodua Kancil.

No rescue operation was necessary as the drivers had already been extricated by passers-by.

The drivers, whose identities were not known, sustained minor injuries and received on-site treatment from paramedics.
