Two 2-metre pythons caught inside chicken coop in Kuala Baram

MIRI (July 20): The Civil Defence Force (APM) caught two pythons measuring two metres each at a house in Kampung Batu Satu, Kuala Baram here on Friday.

In a statement, APM Miri said it received a distress call from the homeowner at 8.47am and despatched a team to the scene.

“When they arrived, they met with the homeowner who said she spotted two large pythons in her chicken coop. The team took 14 minutes to capture the snakes.

“The pythons were later released in the wild,” it said.

The operation ended at 9.30am.
