Calling Mirians to support blood donation campaign on Aug 4

MIRI: The Miri Hakka Association Youth Section will organise its annual blood donation campaign on Aug 4, from 9.30am to 1pm at the Boulevard Shopping Mall here.

Its organising chairman, William Liew Yu Chung, said that this was part of the association’s annual corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities.

“We are organising this blood donation campaign to help the Miri Hospital blood bank to have sufficient blood supply to meet the needs of our community,” he said.

Liew extended his warm welcome to the public and encourage them to donate blood.

The registration counter will open from 9.30 am to 1pm on the day of the event. The campaign is supported by the Miri Hospital Blood Bank and the Miri MRC Blood Donor Recruitment Committee.

Successful donors will receive Haryana healthy rice (335g), vouchers, woven bags, bread, dry noodles, and other items on a first-come, first-served basis.
