SIBU (Aug 2): Dudong assemblyman Dato Sri Tiong King Sing has donated ICT equipment to three longhouses, a school and four students.

The village development and security committees (JKKKs) of Rumah Minggu Ikau, Rumah Andrew Bennet and Rumah Henry Sadang Paong each received a unit of laptop computer and printer.

SK Bandaran No. 2 received a computer set comprising a printer, projector and projector stand in helping teachers conduct their lessons in classrooms.

Meanwhile, the four students each received a laptop to help them pursue their studies at higher learning institutions.

All the donations were handed over by Dudong Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) chairman Datuk Teo Boon Siew during a brief ceremony held here yesterday.

Teo, in his brief remarks, urged all recipients to use the donations to their fullest benefits.

“To the students, I hope you will study hard and make this contribution as an encouragement to continue excelling in your studies,” he added.
