Half-road closure along Jalan Kuching-Serian from Sept 21–Oct 20

KUCHING, Sept 19: A temporary half-road closure will be implemented along Jalan Kuching-Serian from the Mile 15 Traffic Light Intersection to the Kuching-Samarahan Divisional Boundary (Mile 25) from Sept 21 to Oct 20.

According to the Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR), the closure, which will be in effect from 9am to 5pm, is to make way for street furniture repair works and other related works.

“Road users are advised to plan their journeys, follow the traffic signs and safety instructions provided, and exercise caution when passing through the construction area.

“The cooperation and attention of all road users are greatly appreciated to ensure the works are carried out smoothly and safely,” said the department in a notice posted on its Facebook page.
