Man killed after car plunges into ditch at Jln Hollis in Sri Aman

KUCHING, June 19: A man was killed in an accident after the vehicle he was driving veered off the road and plunged into a ditch near the traffic light junction at Jalan Hollis in Sri Aman on Thursday night (June 18).

In a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a call was received at 11.07pm, and firefighters from the Sri Aman station were deployed.

Upon arrival, the victim, identified as Jeffry Emparang Johnson, 28, was found to be unconscious.

Firefighters extricated the victim for medical personnel to conduct an examination and administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Unfortunately, the victim was pronounced dead and was later handed over to the police for further action. — DayakDaily
