MUKAH: Civil engineering lecturers from Mukah Polytechnic (PMU) took part in a ‘Professional Development for Lecturers (PDL) in Civil Engineering: Industry Engagement’ Programme at Miri Community College, recently.

According to the PMU statement, this benchmark visit is an important platform for lecturers to share ideas and experiences and build professional networks with colleagues and industry representatives.

“This programme aims to strengthen the skills and knowledge of lecturers on empowering lifelong learning in the field of civil engineering.

“Throughout this programme, participants had the opportunity to listen to best practice presentations from Miri Community College Director Young Harmen and experienced speakers in the implementation of lifelong learning from the college,” said the statement.

Next, the participants also attended a brainstorming session that focused on the practical application of lifelong learning techniques.
