Police probe shooting incident at Sibu bank, no injuries or losses reported

SIBU (Feb 15): Police are investigating a shooting incident at a bank in the Suria Permata Commercial Centre along Jalan Ulu Lanang here on Sunday.

The incident is believed to have occurred at around 3pm when a man on a motorcycle fired a shot at the bank’s glass door, causing it to shatter.

Closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage allegedly captured the suspect in the act before he fled the scene.

Police arrived shortly afterward and cordoned off the area.

No injuries or losses have been reported and the motive behind the shooting remains unknown.
