I’m absolutely thrilled to be back for my third year at the festival. I’m looking forward to discovering new acts, attending cultural workshops, and soaking up the vibrant atmosphere. I can’t wait for Kitaro’s workshop; getting that one-on-one experience with artistes is so special—you hear their stories and feel their music. Belle Sioski is another highlight for me; her blend of traditional and modern instruments is pure magic.

I’m feeling great despite the hot weather. Traveling all the way from Canada, I stumbled upon this festival online and decided to give it a shot. I don’t have specific expectations, but I’m here to enjoy myself, and it already looks promising.

This is my first time here, and coming from Kuala Lumpur, everything about this festival is exciting. Tonight, I’m particularly eager to be blown away by Belle Sioski’s creative interpretation of tribal instruments and to experience Kitaro’s music with an open mind. The food, the markets, and the cultural elements have all been fascinating to explore.

Travelling from Australia with my family, we were captivated by our previous experience at the RWMF nine years ago, so returning with my children is a special moment. I’m looking forward to seeing Nini, Kitaro, the Borneo Collective, and Alena Murang for this edition of RWMF. Experiencing the local music scene here in Borneo is a highlight of our trip.
