KUCHING, Aug 2: The South Korean Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs (TIPA) has expressed interest in collaborating with Sarawak in the exchange and transfer of technology, joint research and development (R&D) with institutions, and B2B business matching.
Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, in a press statement today, announced the matter following the Sarawak delegation’s visit to TIPA in Seoul recently.
According to him, the collaboration can significantly benefit the development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Sarawak.
He said TIPA is a dedicated government agency that supports and advances the competitiveness of SMEs in South Korea.
He added that its roles are to foster innovation, provide technological assistance and enhance the competitiveness of SMEs through various support programs and services for sustainable growth. — DayakDaily
