UKAS, Sarawak Election Office strengthen cooperation

KUCHING: The Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS) and Sarawak State Election Office are looking to strengthen cooperation in public communication and information dissemination.

The matter was discussed during a courtesy call by an UKAS delegation on Sarawak State Election Director, Abang Noraffian Abang Ibrahim, at Bangunan Sultan Iskandar here today.

The delegation was led by UKAS Director, Awang Putrayusrie Awang Redzuan, and included senior officers from the agency.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views and information on their respective roles and functions.

They also discussed potential collaboration on programmes involving communication and the dissemination of information to the public.

Also present were Sarawak State Election Deputy Director, Hamfatullah Syawal Hamdan, and State Election Assistant Director, Nurshaima Napis.
